Refund Policy

Your 25% deposit serves two purposes:

1 - Your deposit reserves one of our items, products or packages.  It is fully refundable up to 2 months prior to the event it has been booked for.  If you cancel your booking less that 2 months from the event date 50% of the deposit will be refunded.  If you cancel with less than 1 month prior to the event  25% of your deposit will be refunded.

2 - Your deposit is additional to your hire cost and is held in case you damage or lose the item.  Damage will be assed and you will be provided with a cost breakdown.  If the cost of repair exceeds that of the deposit, but is repairable within a short period of time (a week) the full deposit will not be returned to the hirer.   

Loss or severe damage

If the item(s) you have hired are lost or damaged to the point when they are no longer hireable the hirers' deposit will not be returned and Influential Events will invoice the hirer for the additional cost of replacing the item and loss of earnings if any item cannot be hired out to a booking within 2 weeks of the damage or loss.
