All hirers of our equipment do so under the understanding that they have read and understood the terms and conditions below and accept the refunds policy also shown on this site.
Terms & Conditions - the essentials
At Influential Events, our Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) outline the legal framework governing the use of our rental services. These T&C delineate the rights and responsibilities of our clients while engaging with our offerings, ensuring a clear understanding of the rental process and obligations involved.
Each rental agreement is tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients, whether for weddings, parties, or corporate events. This helps to manage expectations and responsibilities on both sides, providing peace of mind for our customers.
Our Terms and Conditions
Unless otherwise agreed, and documented via email or WhatsApp message, all hires are for a 24 hour period.
A 25% deposit is required to secure the hirer of an item and full payment is required 60 days prior to the date of the event. Failure to provide payment in full may result in the cancellation of your booking and the penalties outlined in our refunds policy.
Items hired less than 2 months from the event require payment in full and an additional 25% refundable deposit.
Payment in full is required 2 months prior to the event. Failure to provide the full payment will result in cancellation of your hire and the refund of your deposit.
Hirers must arrange access for a van or vehicle at the agreed time of delivery. Hirers will be will charged a waiting time at £50 per hour if Influential Events are unable to access the delivery address. This will be initially taken for the hirers deposit, and charged additionally if the penalty exceed the amount on deposit.
Hirers must arrange for a person to sign for the items on delivery and, where applicable, set-up. This signature is acceptance of the condition of the goods and that the hirer is therefore fully responsible to ensure the goods are returned in the same condition, clean, complete and without damaged.
Hirers must arrange for access to collect the hired items 24 hours from the time the items were delivered, or at a time that has been agreed, in writing (including electronic messaging), with Influential Events.
Failure to provide access to the hired items at the agreed time of collection will be charged at £50 per hour and will be initially taken for the hirers deposit, and charged additionally if the penalty exceed the amount on deposit.
